BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Here are some tips on how to be a successful online student:

1. Have access to a computer and the Internet.

The communication medium for online education is a computer with Internet access; you must have access to these necessary features.

2. You may need to have another browser besides Internet Explorer.

While our courses work fine with Internet Explorer, some students have found that other browsers such as Firefox or Google Chrome offer a more reliable experience for our online learning portal. Should you experience any trouble using our system, we suggest that you try another browser first before contacting us for assistance.

3. Be self-motivated and self-disciplined.

With the freedom and flexibility of the online environment comes responsibility. Online education requires commitment and discipline to keep up with your program of study.

4. Be willing and able to commit the necessary time weekly for each course.

Online courses are not easier than traditional on campus courses. They require the same level of commitment, and discipline.

5. Remember to start your study time with prayer.

You are learning from the Master, Jesus, first and foremost. May He both enrich and enlighten your knowledge and understanding as you sit and study at His feet!
